How To Make Clove and Nutmeg Rice Pudding Recipe

Creamy rice pudding flavored with aromatic clove and nutmeg.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of white rice
  • 1 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp of ground cloves
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice in a fine-mesh sieve and drain.

  2. In a pot, combine the rice, water, and salt. Bring it to a boil, then cover it and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.

  3. Add in the milk, sugar, and ground spices. Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened and the flavors have melded together.

  4. Remove the pot from the heat and let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
