Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 veggie sausage links, cooked and diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a popover pan or muffin tin.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. Stir in the diced veggie sausage and shredded cheese (if using).

  4. Fill each popover cup or muffin tin about halfway with the batter.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the popovers are puffed up and golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
