How To Make Vegan Mushroom Pâté

Ingredients
- 1 lb mushrooms, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Add the mushrooms, soy sauce, thyme, and smoked paprika to the pan. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the mushrooms are browned and any liquid has evaporated.

Transfer the mushroom mixture to a food processor. Add the nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Taste and adjust the seasonings if needed. Transfer the pâté to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
