Ingredients

  • 2 cups of peas
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp dried savory
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the chopped onion until softened.

  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

  3. Add the peas, dried savory, and vegetable broth to the pot.

  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the peas are tender.

  5. Use an immersion blender or transfer the soup to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
