Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
  • 4 tbsp of butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they have softened and released their juices.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. In a separate pan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and toast the bread slices until golden brown.

  6. Place the toasted bread on serving plates and top each slice with a generous amount of the mushroom mixture.

  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
