Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

  3. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, sauté the mushrooms in the bacon fat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

  5. Melt butter in the skillet and add the dipped bread slices. Cook until golden brown on both sides.

  6. Top each slice of French toast with bacon, mushrooms, and tomato slices.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
