How To Make Stephanie Izard’s Mushroom Toast Recipe
Delicious and savory toast topped with earthy mushrooms and fresh herbs.

Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet. Toast on each side for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted.

Add mushrooms and garlic, then sauté until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Spoon mushroom mixture evenly onto the toast slices.

Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves and parsley.

Bake in preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
