How To Make Mozzarella & Pesto Chickpeas on Toast

Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup of pesto
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Toast the bread slices until golden and crispy.

In a small bowl, mix the chickpeas with the pesto until well coated.

Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each toast and spread the chickpea mixture on top.

Place the toasts on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
