How To Make Leek Seen Sambol

Ingredients
- 2 leeks, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons grated coconut
- Salt to taste
- Juice of half a lime
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Add the sliced leeks to the pan and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until they soften and start to brown.

Stir in turmeric powder, chili powder, and grated coconut. Mix well.

Cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the flavors are well combined.

Season with salt to taste and squeeze in lime juice. Mix well.

Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish with rice or flatbread.
