How To Make Indian Spiced Greens

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 bunch of spinach, chopped
- 1 bunch of kale, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle.

Add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.

Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for a minute to release the flavors.

Add the chopped spinach and kale to the pan. Cook until the greens wilt down, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt to taste and cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve hot with rice or roti.
