How To Make Indian Spiced Ground Lamb Curry
A delicious, flavorful, and aromatic lamb curry made with Indian spices.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let it splutter.

Add onions, ginger, and garlic. Sauté till the onions are golden brown.

Add the ground lamb and cook till it is browned and crumbly.

Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric, and red chili powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook till the tomatoes are soft and mushy.

Add water and bring it to a boil. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 25-30 minutes on low heat.

Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with rice or bread.
