Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of crusty bread
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Slice the bread diagonally, leaving the bottom intact.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, sliced black olives, melted butter, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spread the garlic and olive mixture between the slices of bread, making sure to get it into all the crevices.

  5. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes, then unfold the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to toast the top.

  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
