How To Make Eggy Cheese Crumpets

Ingredients
- 4 crumpets
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Butter, for frying
Instructions

Preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.

In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk until well beaten. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread butter on one side of each crumpet and place them butter-side down in the pan.

Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the top of each crumpet.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each crumpet.

Cook for about 5 minutes or until the bottom of the crumpets are golden brown and the eggs are set.

Using a spatula, carefully flip the crumpets over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the pan and serve hot.
