How To Make Cavolo Nero Orecchiette

- 8 oz orecchiette pasta
- 1 bunch cavolo nero, stems removed and leaves chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions

Cook the orecchiette pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the chopped cavolo nero and cook for 5-7 minutes until wilted.

Add the cooked orecchiette pasta to the pot and toss well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the cavolo nero orecchiette hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
