Ingredients

  • 8 oz vermicelli pasta
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook the vermicelli pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat ghee in a large pan over medium heat. Add cardamom powder and sauté for 1 minute.

  3. Add the sliced almonds, raisins, and grated coconut to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the almonds are golden.

  4. Add the cooked vermicelli pasta to the pan. Mix well to coat the pasta with the spices.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, milk, and water. Pour this mixture over the vermicelli in the pan.

  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has been absorbed by the pasta.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
