Ingredients

  • 4 pears, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine pears, flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cardamom, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until pears are well coated.

  3. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until pears are tender and topping is crispy and golden brown.

  4. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
