How To Make Caprese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 ounces of fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Lay out 4 slices of bread on a cutting board or plate.

  2. Top each slice with tomato slices, mozzarella slices, and basil leaves.

  3. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the toppings and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Place the remaining bread slices on top to make sandwiches.

  5. Cut each sandwich in half and serve.
