How To Make Braised Cabbage & Carrots

Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage, shredded
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the shredded cabbage and sliced carrots to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the onion and garlic.

Pour in the vegetable broth and sprinkle with dried thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the skillet and let the cabbage and carrots simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until they are tender.

Stir occasionally during the cooking process to ensure even cooking.
