How To Make Vegan Air Fryer Falafel Recipe
Crispy golden outside and soft inside. A delicious vegan appetizer.

Ingredients
- 2 cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup flour (gluten-free, if needed)
- Cooking spray
Instructions

Place chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt in a food processor. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.

Add flour to the chickpea mixture and pulse again to combine.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls.

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the falafel balls in a single layer.

Spray the falafel with cooking spray. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

Serve with tahini sauce and pita bread.
