How To Make Vegan Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts Recipe

These guilt-free vegan donuts are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp melted vegan butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For coating:
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix well.

  2. In another bowl, mix unsweetened almond milk and apple cider vinegar and let it sit for a minute.

  3. Add melted vegan butter and vanilla extract to the almond milk mix.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

  5. Preheat the air fryer at 350°F.

  6. Grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

  7. Scoop the batter into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner snipped off.

  8. Pipe the batter into the greased air fryer basket. You should be able to make 8 donuts.

  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating.

  11. Once done, remove the donuts from the air fryer and lightly coat them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

  12. Serve and enjoy!
