How To Make Vegan Fajitas
Delicious and flavorful vegan fajitas loaded with sautéed peppers, onions, and protein-packed tofu.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 block of tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: avocado, salsa, vegan sour cream
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion, sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.

In the meantime, drain and press the tofu to remove excess water. Crumble the tofu into bite-sized pieces.

Push the veggies to one side of the skillet and add in the crumbled tofu. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add in the minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat the tofu and veggies evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes more.

Warm the flour tortillas and divide the tofu and veggie mixture evenly among them.

Serve with your favorite toppings such as avocado, salsa, or vegan sour cream.
