Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  2. Split the vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds. Mix the seeds with the milk and egg in a separate bowl.

  3. Stir in the melted butter.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. Heat a non-stick griddle over medium heat.

  6. Scoop the batter onto the griddle to form pancakes.

  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface.

  8. Flip the pancakes over and cook until golden brown.
