How To Make Dorayaki Recipe
A traditional Japanese cake with a sweet red bean filling sandwiched between two fluffy pancakes.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sweet red bean paste
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder.

Beat the eggs and add them to the dry ingredients.

Add milk and vanilla extract, and mix to form a batter.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and grease lightly.

Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Repeat until all batter is used up.

Once the pancakes are cool, place a dollop of red bean paste onto one pancake and sandwich another pancake on top.
