How To Make Teacakes Recipe

Ingredients
- 200g self-raising flour
- 100g butter, softened
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp milk

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour, alternating with the milk, and mix until well combined.

Spoon the batter into a greased or lined muffin tin, filling each hole about two-thirds full.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the teacakes are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
