How To Make School Days Citrus Pudding
A refreshing and tangy pudding that is perfect for school days.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
- Fresh citrus slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, orange zest, and orange juice.

Return the saucepan to the heat and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring continuously.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the butter until melted and incorporated.

Pour the pudding into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.

Serve the pudding chilled, topped with whipped cream and fresh citrus slices if desired.
