  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it turns into a golden amber color.

  2. Add the butter to the saucepan and whisk until melted and well combined.

  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking continuously.

  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the sea salt until well incorporated.

  5. Let the caramel sauce cool for a few minutes before serving.
