How To Make Pickled Carrots with Garlic & Cumin

Ingredients
- 4 medium carrots, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a glass jar, layer the sliced carrots, minced garlic, and cumin seeds.

Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the carrots, making sure they are fully submerged. Cover the jar with a lid.

Place the jar in the refrigerator and let the carrots pickle for at least 24 hours before serving.

Serve the pickled carrots as a side dish or add them to sandwiches, salads, or tacos for an extra burst of flavor.
