- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup milk
- 24 chocolate wafer cookies
- 48 candy eyes
- 12 red M&M’s
- 24 pretzels
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
-
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
-
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
-
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
-
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture.
-
Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake tin, filling each liner about 2/3 full.
-
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
-
Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.
-
For each cupcake, place a chocolate wafer cookie on top as the reindeer’s face.
-
Attach two candy eyes and a red M&M with icing onto the chocolate wafer cookie to create the reindeer’s face.
-
Break each pretzel in half and insert the pieces into the top of the cupcake to make antlers.
