How To Make Quinoa Porridge
A warm and comforting breakfast made with quinoa, perfect for a healthy start to your day.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk (any variety)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- toppings of your choice (e.g. fresh fruits, nuts, seeds)
Instructions

Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under cold water to remove any bitterness.

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the rinsed quinoa and reduce heat to low.

Simmer for 15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.

In a separate saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm.

Once the quinoa is cooked, stir in the warm milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the porridge reaches your desired consistency.

Serve the quinoa porridge hot and top with your favorite toppings.
