How To Make Loaded Open Sandwiches
Delicious open-faced sandwiches topped with a variety of savory ingredients.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Toast the bread slices until golden brown.

In a large skillet, fry the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

In the same skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.

Spread the avocado slices onto the toasted bread slices.

Top each slice with a cooked egg, bacon, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
