How To Make Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic chocolate chip cookies made with gluten-free flour.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups of gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
