How To Make Egg-Fried Rice

This is a classic Chinese dish made with fluffy rice stir-fried with eggs and a variety of vegetables. It’s a flavorful and satisfying meal!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add beaten eggs and scramble until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender.

  4. Add cooked rice to the skillet and stir-fry for a few minutes, breaking up any clumps.

  5. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

  6. Add the scrambled eggs back into the skillet and mix everything together.

  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
