  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings
  • Condiments, such as ketchup and mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up during cooking.

  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes, until lightly toasted.
