How To Make Apricot & orange rice pudding

A delicious and creamy rice pudding infused with the flavors of apricot and orange.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of dried apricots, chopped
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the rice, milk, sugar, dried apricots, orange zest, and orange juice.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the rice is cooked and the mixture has thickened, about 20-25 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and cinnamon.

  4. Serve warm or chilled.
