- 6 lemons
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 4 cups of water
- A few drops of red food coloring (optional)
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Lemon slices and mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Squeeze the juice from the lemons and strain out any seeds or pulp.

In a pitcher, dissolve the sugar in 1 cup of water, stirring until completely dissolved.

Add the lemon juice, remaining water, and a few drops of red food coloring (if desired), and stir well.
