How To Make Instant Coffee Toffee Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp instant coffee powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, melt the sugar and butter over medium heat.

  2. Stir in the instant coffee powder and salt until combined.

  3. Cook the mixture, stirring continuously, until it turns a deep amber color.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in chopped nuts (if using).

  5. Pour the toffee mixture onto a greased baking sheet and let it cool completely.

  6. Once cooled, break the toffee into pieces and serve.
