Ingredients

  • 8 cups of apple cider
  • 2 cups of apple juice
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp of ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of ground cloves
  • 1 cup of Everclear or high-proof vodka

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the apple cider, apple juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and cloves.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool completely.

  4. Once cooled, stir in the Everclear or high-proof vodka.

  5. Pour the moonshine into sterilized mason jars and seal tightly.

  6. Store in a cool, dark place for at least 1 week to allow the flavors to meld together.

  7. Serve chilled and enjoy responsibly!
