How To Make Slow Cooker Bio Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon of organic milk
  • 1/4 cup of plain yogurt with active cultures
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk into the slow cooker and cover with a lid. Cook on low for 2 hours.

  2. Turn off the slow cooker and let the milk cool for 3 hours.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt and honey.

  4. Gradually add the yogurt mixture to the cooled milk, stirring gently.

  5. Place the lid back on the slow cooker and wrap a towel around it to keep it warm. Let it sit undisturbed for 6-8 hours or overnight.

  6. After the desired incubation time, the yogurt is ready. Transfer it to a container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
