How To Make Peach Panna Cotta Trifle

- 2 cups canned peaches, drained and pureed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp gelatin
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed shortbread cookies
- Fresh peaches, for garnish
Instructions

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

In a separate bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it soften for 5 minutes.

Remove the cream mixture from the heat and whisk in the gelatin mixture until fully dissolved.

Stir in the peach puree and vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into individual serving glasses or dishes and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Just before serving, top each panna cotta with a layer of crushed shortbread cookies and garnish with fresh peach slices.
