How To Make Panna Cotta

Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 tsp unflavored gelatin
- 2 tbsp cold water
Instructions

In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes hydrated.

In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot but not boiling.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Add in the hydrated gelatin and whisk until dissolved.

Pour the mixture into ramekins or dessert glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Once set, run a knife around the edges of the panna cotta and carefully invert it onto a serving plate.

Serve chilled and garnish with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate sauce if desired.
