How To Make Hasty Chocolate Pudding

- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2 3/4 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.

Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract until well combined.

Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming.
