How To Make Pistachio Katmer

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted pistachios, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a flat surface and brush it with melted butter.

  3. Sprinkle one-fourth of the chopped pistachios evenly over the phyllo dough.

  4. Fold the sides of the phyllo dough towards the center, creating a narrow strip.

  5. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, forming a cylinder.

  6. Repeat steps 2-5 with the remaining phyllo dough and pistachios.

  7. Place the rolled katmers on a baking sheet and brush the tops with melted butter.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  10. Serve warm and enjoy!
