Ingredients
- 1 lb lean steak, cubed
- 1 lb beef kidney, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, brown the steak cubes and kidney over medium heat. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onions, carrots, and garlic until softened.

Return the steak and kidney to the skillet. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, flour, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

Cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the meat is tender.

Transfer the mixture to a pie dish and cover with puff pastry. Cut small slits in the pastry for ventilation.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
