  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.

  3. Add beaten eggs and evaporated milk to the pumpkin mixture. Stir until well combined.

  4. Pour the filling into the pie crust.

  5. Bake for 10 minutes at 425°F (220°C), then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).

  6. Continue baking for 40 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
