Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and crimp the edges.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.

  4. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.

  5. While the pie is baking, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.

  6. Once the pie has cooled, serve each slice with a dollop of maple cream on top.
