How To Make Date Jam

Ingredients
- 500g fresh dates, pitted and chopped
- 200ml water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp honey
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine the dates, water, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Cook the mixture for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the dates are soft and the mixture has thickened.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and stir in the honey. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and let cool completely. Transfer the date jam to sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.
