Sweet Avocado Ice Cream Recipe

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, getting your kids to eat vegetables is a challenge! We love finding new ways to sneak healthy foods into their diets, though, so we came up with an ice cream that will surely fool them: Sweet Avocado Ice Crea. It looks just like mint chocolate chip ice cream, so they won’t even know they’re chowing down on something healthy!

This Avocado Ice Cream is a decadent dessert for a hot summer's day. A 5-ingredient recipe you and your family can easily make in the kitchen!

Ingredients

  • 28 oz sweetened condensed milk, (2 cans)
  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 2 ripe avocados

For Toppings:

  • 2 cup chocolate chips, optional

Instructions

  1. Using a hand mixer, beat the heavy cream in a large bowl until stiff peaks start to form. Set aside.

  2. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into another bowl. Set aside.

  3. With a fork, mash the avocado then mix it with the sweetened condensed milk.

  4. Add in the sugar.

  5. Gently fold the heavy cream into the milk and avocado mixture.

  6. Mix in the chocolate chips if desired and let it freeze overnight.

  7. Indulge in a sweet and decadent Avocado Ice Cream!
