How To Make Pistachio Friands with Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 1 cup pistachios, finely ground
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 scoops of chocolate ice cream
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.

In a bowl, mix together the ground pistachios, powdered sugar, and flour.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.

Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the egg whites, and mix well.

Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until combined.

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the friands are golden and set.

Allow the friands to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
