Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup maple sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed maple candies

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  3. In a separate pan, toast the chopped walnuts over medium heat until lightly browned and fragrant. Set aside.

  4. Once the ice cream is done churning, transfer it to a freezer-safe container and mix in the toasted walnuts, maple sugar, and crushed maple candies.

  5. Cover the container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until the ice cream is firm.
