Ingredients

  • 2 pears, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the diced pears, caramel sauce, and sea salt until well combined.

  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4 equal squares.

  4. Spoon the pear mixture onto the center of each puff pastry square.

  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the pear mixture, forming a small pocket.

  6. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg wash.

  7. Place the puffs onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
